“Hachijyu Hachiya” is the eighty-eight day from the first day of spring according to the lunar calendar, considered the best time for first spring harvest and plucking of green tea for the year. Since Shincha is limited in quantity, it is valuable and high in nutrition. It is traditionally said and believed that drinking “Hachijyu Hachiya Shincha”, you will be in good health through the year.
